Our History

Founded in 1906 by Guillermo A. Cu Unjieng, Philippines First Insurance holds the distinction of being the first non-life insurance company in the Philippines. It provided critical insurance protection to pioneering entrepreneurs during the early 20th century, helping to foster economic growth. In 1972, the company was acquired by Agustin N. Tanco, under whose leadership it became part of a diversified services conglomerate.

We ensure these data remain accurate and complete for the duration of your policies or until the expiration of the retention limit set by laws and regulations for closed accounts. Afterward, we securely destroy or delete your information.

Typically, we may retain your personal information for a period of ten (10) years after your last interaction with us.
